The host of Lakeshore Focus is seeking an assistant who can help with the promotion and logistics for a television interview show focusing on the issues, events and people of this region. The show is broadcast weekly on Lakeshore Public Television, WYIN.
We are looking for someone who:
· Can relate well to people over the telephone
· Communicates clearly and persuasively when writing emails
· Can research a variety of topics and subjects
· Excellent with follow up
· Interest in television and video media
Any individual engaged in this internship would be supervised and gain real world experience in:
· Communications-written and verbal
· Marketing to specific audience segments
· Maintaining a database of viewers
· Creating paths for interaction with viewers
· Scheduling and assisting guests
· Wrap up and appreciation of guests
· Creating scripts and graphics for the show
· Cataloging and tracking activity
This is an office based job with flexible hours. An incredible opportunity within this internship would be to make some great contacts with a large number of people in this region who are leaders in every sector.
